Itinerary

Day 1: Explore the worthy attractions in Guilin City Surroundings

Stop At: Reed Flute Cave (Ludi Yan), 0773-2695075, Guilin 541001 China
About 15 minutes driving, you will get the most famous cave in Guilin — Reed Flute Cave. It is called a "Natural Art Museum" due to the numerous beautiful stalactites and stalagmites inside it.
Decorated with colorful spotlights and with intriguing shadows cast across the cave's small pool, it's as though you are looking at a beautiful Chinese painting. A karst cave on such a great scale as this and with such beautiful natural formations is a rare natural phenomenon in the world.
Now Reed Flute Cave has become a calling card of Guilin. More than 180 international heads of state and politicians have visited this cave, including two former presidents of the United States, Nixon and Carter.

Stop At: Guilin Yaoshan Mountain Scenic Resort, East of the District, Diecai District, Guilin 541000 China
After enjoy the fantastic karst landscape in Reed Flute Cave,we will drive about 20 minutes get to Yao Mountain.Yao Mountain is located in the northeast of Guilin city, it's about 8 kilometers far from city center.The main peak is 760 meters high, altitude is 909.3 meters, it is the highest mountain in Guilin city area.
During take the cableway from the foot of the mountain to the top,you will see the peaks of the mountains,rivers,so amazing views.

Stop At: Guilin Yaoshan Mountain Scenic Resort, East of the District, Diecai District, Guilin 541000 China
Visit Tea Plantation.The Tea Plantation is located in the Yao Mountain scenic area. It was Royal Tea Plantation of Jingjiang wangfu,that is the palace of a prince in Ming Dynasty. You will smell a strong fragrance of tea when you walk into the plantation. Natural,fresh air,singing bird and nice view. You can watch the tea picking process,traditional tea art performance, taste special local tea and learn the unique Chinese tea culture.

Stop At: Daxu Old Town, Daxu Old Street, Guilin China
After enjoy the lunch and drive about 30 minutes,you will arrive at a quiet ancient town"Daxu". "Daxu" town was built in the 200 AD period and well-kept. The old street in town stretches 2 kilometers along the Lijiang River.You can see the uneven streets are covered with bluestone slabs and there are a few old houses, handwork shop, old barber shop and antique shop beside the street.
During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Daxu was the busy town for business, a lot of the merchants have the Clan Associations at here, such as Guangdong province, Hunan province, Jiangxi province, and mosques,the town was very prosperous until to the early years of the Republic of China. You'll feel an authentic history there.

Day 2: Explore Nature in Li River & Yangshuo

Stop At: Li River, Xingping China
You will enjoy a private raft trip. Go along the most beautiful part of the Li River for about 1 hour, from Xingping to Nine-Horse Painted Hill, and then return to Xingping.Inside the scenic spot are folded green peaks,reflections of verdant bamboos and other picturesque scenery.The poem goes like this: The passenger boat is light in spring water,unique peaks shuttle between the shore lines; sceneries in Xingping are truly the best after visiting all the places.

Stop At: Xingping Town, Guilin 541906 China
Xingping Ancient Town is 27 kilometers upstream from Yangshuo on the Li River. The town was initially settled in 265 AD with a history of more than 1740 years, it was the regional centre for Yangshuo County until Yangshuo was settled in 590 AD. It is not as developed as neighboring touristy Yangshuo, it nonetheless has a nice authentic feel to it complete with a few intact historical buildings and easy access to the Li River.

Stop At: Li River, Xingping China
Say hello to our vivid cormorant and fisherman on their bamboo raft, this is traditional Chinese fishing practice,enrich your experience and take some photos with them to your heart's content.

Stop At: Yulong River, Yangshuo, Yangshuo County China
Cycling along beside Yulong River.After driving for about 1 hour from Xingping, you'll arrive at the rural paths near the Yulong River. Take a bicycle or an electric scooter ride along the beautiful countryside paths next to the Yulong River where the water flows silently, the birds are singing, and flowers are blooming. Watch the local farmers ride their ox carts as they plow the fields. Everything is so peaceful, harmonious, and perfect. Forget all your troubles while you feel like staying in paradise.

Stop At: Xianggong Mountain, Xingping Town, Yangshuo County 541906 China
Climb Xiangong Hill.You may take more than a hundred steps to climb up, normally it takes 10-15 minutes, you will climb up to the peak of the hill and have bird's eye to overlook, you’ll be taken aback by the amazing view of the beautiful karst landscape set as countless hills around the Li River.
