French Cuisine By The Sea In Sai Kung

Want to try something different while you're in Hong Kong? Why not have some authentic French cuisine withh Jennifer, our expat host in Hong Kong. Originally from Malaysia, Jennifer has been living in Hong Kong for 28 years developed a passion for different types of delicious cuisine while she was working in the travel industry. For Jennifer, it brings her joy and great pleasure to have people enjoy her home cooking in a warm and fun environment with good wines and company. Having completed the full course in French cuisine with Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School, you can be sure that you will experience a wonderful French culinary experience with Jennifer!

Dinner will start with a welcome drink and canapes, followed by a complete course with appetizer, entree, dessert, coffee/tea and home made cookies. Feel free to bring your own drinks if you like, there is no corkage charge here. Jennifer also has a collection of South African, New Zealand and Australian wines that you can pair with your meal at an affordable price.

ON THE MENU

Guests will be served food made from the best ingredients that Jennifer can find in the market. The lamb and beef is mostly from New Zealand, mussels and tuna from Canada and rest of fresh seafood is locally sourced (Sai Kung is famed for its fresh seafood offers).

You will be served:

1. Moules marinière - Sailor-style mussels cooked in wine

2. Roast rib eye beef with fondant potatoes, glazed asparagus, baby carrots, jus

3. Lime lemon tart with fresh berries

While Jennifer is trained in French Cuisine, she also harbours a strong passion for authentic Malay, Cape Malay and South African, Mediterranean, and Northern Indian cuisine. If you are feeling adventurous, feel free to "mix it up" and order some extra entrees from different cuisines (at an additional price)! You can leave a remark about it and Jennifer will give you more recommendations!

Traditional Malay: Satays - seasoned grilled meat skewers served with a sauce

Cape Malay and South African: Roasted prawns and calamaris
