Itinerary

Day 1: Badaling Great Wall & Ming tombs (Changling) Private Day Trip (Lunch)

Stop At: Ming Tombs (Ming Shishan Ling), Ming Shisan Ling Area, Changling Town, Changping District, Beijing 102213 China
1. Our tour guide pick-up from the hotel at about 8:00 am, and then drive to Ming Tombs (50 miles away from downtown about one hour driving). You will visit Changling, the head and the largest tomb of Ming Tombs, where Emperor Yongle (the first emperor in Beijing) and his Empress Xu were buried. The sightseeing on the Ming Tombs takes about 2 hours.

2. Before having lunch, travelers have 45 minutes to have a short visit of Jade Carving Factory. The jade carving is very famous special local product, it was not only the excellent skill on carving, but also mixes many Chinese traditional cultures in the jade carving.

3. Have traditional Chinese lunch at restaurant.

4. After lunch, driving to the Badaling Great Wall. The hike on Badaling Great Wall takes 3 hours. Cable car is available and optional.

5. On the way to your hotels, we also arrange a short exterior visit to "the Birds Nest, water cube"---the main Olympic Stadium now being built for the 2008 Olympic Games.

6. Driving the travelers back to their hotel.

Day 2: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven & Summer Palace Private Day Trip (Lunch)

Pass By: Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang), West Changan Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100006 China
1. Our tour guide pick-up from the hotel at about 8:00 am. This tour starts at Tian'anmen Square with its plentitude of monuments testifying to the communist, and more specifically, Mao's influence on China's modern history.

Stop At: Forbidden City-The Palace Museum, No.4 Jingshanqian Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100009 China
2. From there you will proceed to the Forbidden City. Visit the Forbidden City along the central axis from south to north for two hours.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Temple of Heaven, Tiantan Road, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100050 China
3. Have traditional Chinese lunch at restaurant.

4. Drive (30 minutes) to the magnificent and colorful Temple of Heaven. Visit it for 1.5 hours.

5. After visit the Temple of Heaven, you will have a chance to visit the Chinese traditional medicine culture.

6. Driving (30 minutes) to Summer Palace. The visit takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

7. After the tour, transferred back to the hotel.
