Cajón del Maipo - El Yeso Falls Waterfall and Hill Spa

A unique experience to discover the natural beauty of Cajon del Maipo. Enjoy a different and exciting day.

Itinerary

Cajón del Maipo is a valley that penetrates the Cordillera de los Andes, with several small villages, the main San José del Maipo, a small town full of history, which was founded in 1972 and is considered National Heritage.
The Maipo River gives life to the region and on its banks many ecotourism activities take place. It also irrigates the vineyards of Cabernet Sauvignon, typical of the region.
We snake more and more into Cajón, admiring beautiful landscapes and renew ourselves with the fresh mountain air. Soon we began to climb its hills, now on the banks of the Yeso river towards the Reservoir.
Embalse el Yeso is the main water supply dam in Santiago. Its waters at 2,500 meters of altitude, above sea level, vary from turquoise blue to emerald green and are framed by the mountains of the mountain range.
The hot springs of Colina, with its thermal waters heated by the nearby San José Volcano, is an incredible place to relax in one of its 9 natural and outdoor pools, embedded in the slopes of the mountain range. The temperature of the water varies in each pool, from 25ºC and can reach up to 60º C.
