Explore a live local distillery making hand-crafted rum and other spirits in small batches and bottling since 1789.

Stop At: Queen's Staircase, Top of Elizabeth Avenue, off Shirley Street, Nassau New Providence Island

A major landmark in Nassau, the Queen's Staircase has been named in honor of Queen Victoria. It has 66 steps that were made from solid limestone rock by slaves whose original aim is to provide direct access from Fort Fincastle to Nassau City.

You can also explore this as well as other historic sites in Nassau. Fort Fincastle was built in 1793 to help protect the city from pirates.
