Angkor Cycling by Bike or eBike (Optional Temple Guide)

We provide Safe, Professional, Comprehensive tour of Angkor, which offers adventure and respect of the environment. The tour is supervised and led by an English Speaking Cycling Assistant and Mechanic.

We offer a choice of MTB or bicycles with electrical assistance.

We can start the tour at dawn (05:00) or a little later (07:30) according to your choice.

Biking Cambodia is a Swiss/Cambodian company, specialising in cycling tours since 2005. We are the professionals.

A Temple Guide is an optional extra. Angkor Park fees are at guest expense.

We pick-up guests from their hotel or guest house. Guests must ensure Biking Cambodia staff are notified at least 24 hours before the start of the tour. If guests are not staying at a recognised guest house or hotel within the city limits, then guests must make their own way to the start point which is Terre Cambodge, Temples Road, Borei Premprei, #R-30, Charming Village

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Angkor Wat, Sangkat Nokor Thum, Siem Reap Cambodia

We gather at the start point, which is the Terre Cambodge office. We set off and avoid the main roads and the tourist rush as much as possible. After obtaining Angkor Park tickets, our morning cycling ride takes us to Angkor Wat, one of the new seven wonders of the world.


Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Angkor Thom South Gate, Siem Reap Cambodia

We then proceed North to Angkor Thom and enter though the South gate

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Bayon Temple, Angkor Thom, Siem Reap Cambodia

Continuing further, we reach Bayon Temple and its hundreds of serene stone faces of King Jayavarman VII.

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Terrace of the Elephants, Angkor Thom, Siem Reap Cambodia

After another cycle ride North, we reach the Terraces of the Elephant and the Leper King and stop for another photo opportunity.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Preah Khan, Angkor Wat, Siem Reap Cambodia

Onward North again and we stop at Preak Khan temple,

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Neak Pean, Angkor Wat, Siem Reap Cambodia

Turning Eastward, we reach the baray named Jayatataka with the island and temple of Neak Pean at its centre.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Ta Som, Angkor Archaeological Park Cambodia

Turning South after Jayatataka, we come upon the small temple of Ta Som, built in the 12th century.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Eastern Mebon, Angkor, Siem Reap Cambodia

Riding South, we enter the now dry East Baray and on to Eastern Mebon temple which was at one time an island at the centre of the Baray.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Srah Srang, Siem Reap Cambodia

After a right turn, we proceed along the side of the lovely Srah Srang, 10th century reservoir. There is an opportunity to stop at a high-end restaurant here.

Stop At: Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang Angkor, Siem Reap Cambodia

We then arrive at Banteay Kdei, a historic Buddhist temple with moat.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Ta Prohm, National Road #6, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia

From here we continue to Ta Phrom temple, renowned for its reclamation by nature and its appearance in the Lara Croft: Tomb Raider movie.

Duration: 1 hour

Pass By: Angkor Wat, Sangkat Nokor Thum, Siem Reap Cambodia

Finally, we arrive back at Angkor Wat, from which guests cycle back to the departure point. Once they arrive, we arrange drop off at their hotel.
