Climbing in Babylon

When climbing in Babylon there are many climbing routes as an option, with a beautiful view of Vermelha Beach and Botafogo Cove, as well as Guanabara Bay.

Access is very easy, with a trail of approximately 5 minutes, allowing you to climb part of the day and enjoy the rest of the day in other activities.

Itinerary

A rock climbing will take place on the Babylonian wall at Praia Vermelha, in the Urca neighborhood.

There are several climbing routes on this wall, with options from III to V degree of difficulty. The climb has an average of 150 meters long, is a technical climb, where predominates the technique grabs and grip.

The descent will be done by rappelling by the climbing route itself.

All climbing equipment will be provided!

The participant must have previous and proven climbing experience. It is recommended that the participant has already climbed long rock climbing routes from the third degree of difficulty.
