This is the longest in the world reversible cableway that will take you from Hlidzor village to Tatev monastery.

Stop At: Tatev Monastery, Tatev Armenia

Tatev monastery is one of the diamonds of Armenia. Located far in the south it attracts hundreds of tourist every day.

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Tatev Oil Mill, Tatev 3218, Armenia

In these ancient oil mill, you will have the chance to see how in ancient time monks were making oil for their own demand and for trade.

Stop At: Satanayi Kamurj (Satan's Bridge), Across the Vorotan River, Tatev Armenia

This is a natural bridge made b the currency of the river. Besides the incredible beauty, the place is attractive also due to the warm bathes that are located right next to it.

This is viewing point from where opens a breathtaking view to the gorge of Tatev. It was used as an observation deck to notify the monks about the approach of enemy armies.

In addition to the main landmarks by request, we can visit also the Great Hermitage of Tatev. Located among the forest, with big halls and semy demolished room, this abandoned hermitage gives you an incredible feeling of what was it like to be a monk in middle ages.

On our way to Tatev, we can visit also the beautiful waterfall of Shaki. This is an additional landmark so the visit is done by request.

Stop At: Karahundj (Armenia's Stonehenge), Sisian Armenia

Not far from the main highway and Shaki waterfall is located Karahunj. In translation to english, it will be Stonehenge, and not in vain. However, it is smaller than the famous Stonehenge in the UK, it is one of the mysterious sites of Armenia. Up to our days, scientists do not have one explanation to this specifically laid blocks with holes in them. Some consider it as an ancient observatory, whilst the others are predisposed to the opinion that this is a ritual site.
