Calafate Navigation THREE Glaciers and footbridges Perito Moreno

Once on board we will navigate through the North Arm of Lake Argentino until we reach the Upsala Canal, where we will find a spectacular Ice Barrier. From there we will have a panoramic view of the Upsala Glacier.
Then we will navigate the Spegazzini Canal, where we can observe the Dry Glacier, until we reach the front of the Spegazzini Glacier, the highest in the National Park with an average height between 80 to 135 m.
Once back in Puerto Punta Bandera, we will continue the journey towards the South zone of the Los Glaciares National Park towards the majestic Perito Moreno Glacier.
Arrive at "the curve of sighs" called this way because it is the first point where we have a panoramic view of the Perito Moreno Glacier.
Short stop to take pictures and continue to the catwalks of the Perito Moreno Glacier.

Once on board we will navigate through the North Arm of Lake Argentino until we reach the Upsala Canal, where we will find a spectacular Ice Barrier. From there we will have a panoramic view of the Upsala Glacier. The Upsala Glacier was the largest surface glacier within the Los Glaciares National Park, however, after having suffered a significant setback in recent years (Surface 2008: 990km2. Current surface: 765km2), it came in second place after the Viedma Glacier (900km2 ) north of the park. The Glacier owes its name to the Swedish city of Uppsala, whose university sponsored the first studies on glaciology in the area.

We will navigate the Spegazzini Canal, where we can observe the Dry Glacier, until we reach the front of the Spegazzini Glacier, the highest in the National Park with an average height between 80 to 135 m. The Glacier owes its name to the botanist Carlos Spegazzini who conducted the first flora studies in the region.

Once back in Puerto Punta Bandera, we will continue the journey to the South of the Los Glaciares National Park to surprise us with the majestic Perito Moreno Glacier.

The walk takes place on the North Arm of Lake Argentino and runs between spectacular icebergs of enormous size and varied shapes. From the boats you can see, among others, the iceberg barrier of the Upsala Glacier and the Spegazzini Glacier.

Stop At: Pasarelas Perito Moreno, Parque Nacional Los Glaciares, El Calafate 9405 Argentina

Short stop to take pictures and continue to the catwalks of the Perito Moreno Glacier.
Once there and once spare parts of the astonishment that will cause us the imposing of the landscape, we will cross the stairs or walkways to obtain different views of the front of the Glacier, of 5 km. It is necessary to remember the importance in the respect that we must have for the signage that this part of the Park has, and to walk the walkways at all times without leaving them.
The park guards are responsible for the preservation of the beauties of the place and fulfill an important task as informants, which is complemented by the story and the permanent assistance of our guides, who accompany the travelers along the entire route.
