The Aware's Behavior
The Adware 'StopPopupAdsNow' is a browser helper object that blocks some Internet Explorer advertising pop-up windows, and instead, displays pop-up windows from its' supporting paid sponsors.In addition, the spyware portion of program will collect information, such as browsing habits.
The adware's goal is geared to displaying pop-up advertising windows.(relatively harmless)
The most common installation method for this adware program is through Web sites.

The software program will install itself as an Internet Explorer Browser Helper Object.
The spyware software monitors browsing habits, especially when clicking through advertisements, and will display pop-up advertisements from paid sponsors of the program.
Scanning for and deleting the Spyware and Adware files
Run your free spyware scanner and make sure that it is configured to scan all files. Run a full system scan.If any files are detected as spyware under the Adware filename(s) StopPopupAdsNow, Delete them.
Deleting the Spyware values from the Registry
Click Start, and then click Run. (The Run dialog box appears.)Type regedit
Then click OK. (The Registry Editor opens.)
Delete the registry keys:
