This spyware threat can be detected only by free Spyware Scanner software that support expanded threats.
The Spyware's Behavior
Spyware 'CrushSearch' is an adware program that modifies your Web browser's default home page and search settings without your permission.CrushSearch's spyware may also contact the search site secret-crush.com, for advertisement-tracking purposes.
The spyware files will be able to be detected as Adware under the file name(s) CrushSearch.
Your search setting and/or default home page will most likely be changed.
The adware component must be manually installed, or installed as a component of another program that you install.
When Spyware 'CrushSearch' is executed, it performs the following:
Changes the Internet Explorer home page and search page to a Web page on the Web site secret-crush.com. For example, secret-crush.com/search/search.php.The adware may contact secret-crush.com for advertisement-tracking purposes.
*Make sure you run a full system spyware scan and delete all the spyware files detected as Adware under the file name(s) CrushSearch.
Then restore your Internet Explorer settings.
Scanning for and Deleting the Spyware files
Run your free Spyware Scanner and make sure that it is configured to scan all files.Run a full system spyware scan.
If any files are detected as spyware infected with the Adware CrushSearch, click Delete.
Restoring your Internet Explorer settings
Start Microsoft Internet Explorer.Connect to the Internet and go to the page that you want to set as your home page.
Click Tools > Internet Options.
In the Home page section of the General tab, click Use Current >OK.
Click the Programs tab >Reset Web Settings.
