File names: Not available

Spyware 'CommonName' has an adware program that, when certain keywords are typed when using a search engine, will display their advertisers results. The functionality of this adware component is that you can type keywords instead of the URLs to reach Web sites.

The server that CommonName's spyware contacts is commonname.com, on port 80.

CommonName's spyware runs as a Browser Helper Object, which means that the adware component receives information regarding all the recorded actions inside your Internet Explorer.

When CommonName's Spyware is installed, it creates several registry keys in the Windows registry. The adware component in CommonName creates the folder, C:\Program Files\CommonName. All the files belonging to the adware component will be inserted into this folder.
