A Close Look at The Nintendo e-ReaderA Close Look at The Nintendo e-ReaderNintendo's e-reader just functions like a Credit Card reader you see in retail outlets. But instead scanning a Credit Card through it's slot, you use Nintendo's own e-Cards.The e-Reader lens, manufactured by Olympus for Nintendo, reads the binary dot code from the e-cards and sends it to the gaming controller chips. From there it gets transferred to the Gameboy Advance through the game port. The E-reader comes with a Flash or ROM Chip for it's own program, so after you plug it in the GBA the e-Readers menu shows up. The other Flash Chip provides 1 MBit memory to store Nintendo's e-card games. If you scan e-card games to the e-Reader, it will stay stored there and you won't have to do this again until you erase the game's memory. Unfortunately that's not supported by all Nintendo games on all e-cards. Trying Nintendo's e-ReaderIf Nintendo's e-Reader is a gadget you'd like to try gaming with, grab an e-Reader Set with Donkey Kong Jr. (NES port) which includes 5 additional e-Reader cards. Further you should take a look at Excite Bike, and Animal Crossing cards, as this demonstrates Nintendo's cross-platform vision. You will find much more on this topic at WorldsLargestNetwork.com Wholesale Video Games Unlimited MP3s Movies and Music Videos Healing Music Copy any DVD With a CD-R Play and Burn Unlimited MP3s Simple Projection TV Free Music DVD Squeeze Mp3 Master v 6 DVD Backup Copies Pocket PC Games Copy any DVD movie to a CD Find Free DVD Movies Projection TV |
